Cisco CCENT/CCNA ICND1 100-101 Official Cert Guide, Academic Edition Free Download
This is more than just a textbook and study guide. It will join the other members of my career reference library as well. This book covers the material for the new CCENT exam, ICND1 100-101. I like the way the book is laid out. It has lots of colors and diagrams which make it an easy read. Each chapter is followed by a Summary, Review Questions (answers are provided), a review of the key topics, and a definition review of key terms. Command reference tables are also included with those chapters that cover commands. These make nice cheatsheets.
A DVD is provided with this book that contains the following study tools:
* lists and tables from the chapters that are only partially completed which allows you to complete them from memory.
* additional practice problems for some of the chapters. These are great.
* simulated ICND1 and CCNA exams using the Pearson IT Certification Practice Test Exam Engine which works well on Windows 8.1. This simulator gives you lots of practice just as if you were taking the exam.
* lite version of the CCNA Network Simulator from Pearson gives you valuable hands on training without the need for actual equipment.
