I semi-retired due to illness and came back.....but in an office without Wi-Fi or good computer speed(rural)..New information is mandatory in any practice. This book is chalk full of good discussions, diagnosis, treatment of most problems in primary care. It has over 1100 pages...My first copy had 600...Yikes....That is why it so hard to be a Primary Care Provider any more. There is information overload.....and another reason 40% of Residencies were left empty in Primary Care/back to the trenches I love.

I am a college student and have relied on this textbook especially when writing a paper or studying for an exam. The chapters are very detailed from symptoms to diagnosis as well as treatments and life expectancy in some cases. I use this text more than my medical dictionary. A must have for anyone in medicine.
